Privacy Control, double sided mirror, steel pipes, vinyl text, at Simone Subal Gallery, 8 x 8 feet, 2018
Privacy Control, experimental performance that worked with selfie culture, protection practices, and spirituality
The mountain climbing headlights helped to activate the material of double-sided mirror, used for protecting privacy, but also used for surveillance.
The performers were asked from a crown as volunteers, I did not plant them, or know them prior to their trust in working with me spontaneously.
I asked them to go behind the screen and follow my movements from the outside as the audience watched themselves and our movements.
